Completely skipped my mind that this is tomorrow; I thought it was on Wednesday. Sorry to only get it up the day before.

So basically 3 wins in our 3 remaining games is absolutely key to be in the running for this competition. If we lose, we should play more youth in the last 2 games.

Kashima played on the weekend and won 1-0. Hopefully they are more tired than us and we can capitalise  They weren't light years ahead of us in the previous game.

Lose this and we're 1W1D4L from our last six matches.

For a club that's largely been winning through the power of self-belief, I'm a little worried about how the rest of the season will play out.

Sydney,
Is sky blue Sydney?
Is sky blue Sydney?
Is sky blue ...  ?

So an even weaker lineup than last week, with no left-footed LB options?

If Bobo & Nnko are out it's going to be the weakest game day squad we've put out since the glory days of $50 & Kossie.

                             Redmayne
Calver          Warland             Wilko               Wilkshere
                Brillante               Retre
Adrian                    Brosque                        Kalik
                                 Simon
Bench: Cisak, Bandiera, Flottman, Zuvela, Tilio/Cox, Charlie.

At least the kids will get a run.

Arnie will find a way to not play youth.

I saw Clarkey getting fitted for a kit after the last game.

I'd imagine we fielded a few similar or weaker sides during our last ACL adventure.

Does anyone know where i can find historical line ups for these games?

They’ll blast our faces, not our faeces.

3-0 to Kashima.

This Saturday against Roar is HUGE.

Not sure why Roar is huge we are still convincing winners at the top of the table. As much as it looks our campaign is ended in the ACL we still have a chance. If we roll over I would be pissed.

Amazingly he'll have to play an actual attacking midfielder in a narrow attacking midfielder role (Kalik!) So in terms of that, we might actually look better. O'Neill and Zullo are huge losses though.

Arnold playing Carney there last week was a disgrace.

As someone said, if we loose our last 6 will be 4L 1W 1D...

Its huge because if we turn up and put 2-3 (as we would do at our peak) past this team it may be the magic to getting our confidence/style back.

Gritty draw or narrow win is our best option with those key absences. Would like to put the pressure on them at home by defending resolutely, but the defensive lapses last week don't fill me with confidence of being able to shut up shop.

I hope Zuvela gets a run, he has been good for the youth team for a couple of years now and with our midfield depleted deserves a go.

Lets not forget last week was essentially the Kashima reserve team.  They will play their full strength team tonight.....  Arse Blasting.

This competition is as good as over for us. Go out there, try not to be embarrassed and re-focus on finishing up the domestic treble this season.

Yes,agree completely....use the 3 remaining games to get some of the bench players a bit match fit...the final series isnt far away and a teams only as good as the worst reserve.

Simon starting up front... so I guess goals aren't a priority for us tonight.

Retre to right back with Zuvela taking the empty slot in midfield. Kalik on the left.

That's a very thin bench. Mutch is the one to watch IMO. He looked good a couple of NPL seasons ago (he spent much of last season out with a broken arm). Very attacking right back or right wing. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a short run out.

Is that our first change of formation since day 1 of last season?

It's still a 4-2-3-1 because Brosque will be playing in the 10 position.
