Maybe he’s banging a Corby.

Anyone remember Enver Alivodić from the Jets a few years ago?

Turns out he made his debut with Serbia last year, which I find really strange.

If I am remembering the right guy, he was really inconsistent but made some really good things happen in a really shit side.

FBK has gone to a Victorian NPL2 side, which is a bizarre move.

Anyone remember Sergi Guardiola who was on loan at Adelaide a couple of seasons ago?

He scored 22 goals in the Spanish second tier last season, now has a 15m release clause and is on loan at Getafe in La Liga next season.

Gui Finkler is playing in Lithuania. He came off the bench in a Champions League qualifier last night.

Gombau has entered football purgatory, at Delhi Dynamos in the Superannuation League. I hope he has another career to fall back on.

Berisha has played about 25 minutes of football since going to Japan. Hasn't even made the match day squad half the time.

Cue a loan move to MV under the cap where he scores 15.

Victory pulled off a worldie in punting Berisha to Japan for a transfer fee. Felt like a strange move when it was announced.

Absolutely. Abysmal piece of scouting by Sanfrecce. It was pretty clear that Berisha's impressive engine was already a lot of smoke in the inferior A-League as of the season before last, so it was stunning that they wasted a squad and (Asia?) visa spot on him.

That and their two other visa strikers seem to be doing well.

I just noticed that they are way out on top so whatever it is Sanfrecce are doing they're doing well whatever this internet numptie thinks.

In other J-League news, it can't be long before Ange is back in Oz, as Yokohama are really struggling. Last night a loss at home to fellow strugglers Nagoya leaves them a point above the relegation playoff position with over half the season gone.

Alas, this result also means that Jordy's V-Varen Nagasaki slide into a relegtion place.
