Nowhere on Earth are two mediocre teams separated by so much distance

10 of the starting XI are over 30 for Brisbane. They deserve to be relegated for that alone.

Saw their average age in that side is 33. Only player under 30 is Hingert at 27. Has to be one of the oldest XIs in the league.

That feels good. Cheers Maccarone.

Great finish from Maccarone. I couldn't see an Aussie striker in this league (or perhaps an Aussie striker anywhere right now) being able to pull that off so effectively.

A heavy Victory loss here would be a lovely early birthday present.

Williams has become amazingly incompetent this season.

Williams has become amazingly incompetent this season.

People even 4 months ago were calling for him to go to the World Cup. Absolutely crazy. Not many players have gone so far downhill so fast.

A most disrespectful and unwarranted reaction in my estimation.  I would strongly encourage the MVFC Board to give that nice Kevin Muscat a four year extension.  And a similar deal for Besart, it’s only a temporary form slump.

Imagine how many we'd have scored already if we were playing this Victory team this week. Brisbane blowing so many chances going forward.

Bit worried now. They just needed a lucky moment or a hit like that to start them off. They never looked like scoring until that point.

If Papadopoulous doesn't get man of the match, surely Brett Holman has to get it.

Great start to the weekend.
