Such a different team with Mile.

Worried though that he looked like he grabbed his hamstring right near the end.

We should have won, but I’ll take confidence in that they were rubbish. No excuse not to turn them over at home.

Absolute shocking call with the offside and the penalty that wasn't. Maybe a soft penno regardless? Always going to be a collision there.

Ange said after the game the ref told him he had awarded a goal kick.

We must have a better option than Risdon? He was abysmal.

We all know Leckie will be back to suck at RWB.

I think part of the whole move to the 3-4-2-1 was the huge lack of RB options.

Sydney bias aside, Rhyan Bert Grant was the answer. He'd have bossed it in Ange's system.

Risdon set up the two best chances we had in the second half ie the header by Juric and the run were the two Aussie’s rang to the same position and the ball went behind them with an open goal beginning

Kinda surprised people aren't more incensed by the obvious penalty that was granted being overturned for no apparent reason.

What the hell happened there?

Looked to me like the linesman got intimidated when the Hondurans surrounded him and backed down, but that assumes he initially signalled for the penalty and not the ref.

This is correct, he hit one good cross during the 90 minutes.

Never a penalty.

I would've been a little embarrassed (though perfectly happy to wear the embarrassment in the circumstances) were we to go through on that decision.

Are you kidding? That was a thousand times more a nailed on penalty than that abortion of a decision against Italy in 2006. Even still we had at least six easy chances - how the fuck did we not score from Juric's drive across the box when two of our lot overran the ball to the far past.

Watch them get through on a 1-1 draw tomorrow night. Have a feeling we are gonna regret the missed chances in the first leg.

Everyone just seems so supremely confident we will qualify. While Honduras were absolute rubbish in the first leg, surely they can offer more than that.

If we go behind it's all over imo. They'll sit 11 behind the ball and we won't score more than 1, if that.

Always been a fan of Juric but I still think McLaren would be a better option against these guys.

Anyway that's not happening. If Postenoclue thinks Robbie Kruse is the saviour tomorrow night, Then we are doomed. He has to be one of the worst players ever to wear a green and gold jersey.Absolute rubbish and offers nothing.

I'm sure somebody here will mention a goal that he set up blah blah...He is fkn useless.

Honduras have 3 players coming back.We will win but we will make it hard. Australia 2-1.

For such reasons I am happy enough to try and just conservatively boss possession for the first half and make them chase the ball then narrow the risk taking and dirrect attcking to the 2nd half when they'll inevitably tire. Though I don't think Ange shares my views.

Them going ahead in the tie is to be avoided at all costs. The gamesmanship would be very, very frustrating.

Didn’t think it was a penalty either, and bringing up the Grosso thing is embarrassing.

I’m relatively confident about tomorrow as long as we play more of a 343 like we did over there, and don’t make too many personnel changes. I’ll be worried if there’s more than 2/3 changes.

Shitting myself already about the game and we haven’t even kicked off. Will be watching from a Scottish pub in Norway though which will be fun regardless of the outcome.

I'm honestly not expecting us to get through. I have bad vibes.

Mate, ain't no one here ever gonna defend Robbie Kruse.

RE: the match, I don't think it matters if we concede first. Ange has proven time and time again he's tactically inflexible and doesn't know how to shut up shop. So even if we score first, we will continue to push and try to kill them off with a second and a third etc. He's not going to change now, and especially not when there's the opportunity to once again go all BBQ sauce bottle and stick two fingers up to all the critics on the big stage.

We will be open to the counter ALL night regardless, and that will suit them. Hence only prediction is it will be painful and result in finger nails being shredded by all.

Kruse and Milligan will probably go straight back into the team won't they, I may as well just start drinking myself to death now.

Who would've thunk it? Kevin Muscat...
